I use precious materials to craft miniature worlds in metal, utilizing traditional metalsmithing techniques such as fabrication and lost-wax casting. Each piece is crafted in wax and metal with my own hands, and I painstakingly choose stones, colors and textures to bring dimension into each design. I am surprised and delighted every day by the turns my pieces take as they awaken and come to life. My studio is located in the woods at the foot of Jump Mountain, in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.
